WOW, thats a lot of digging!

My Oh has just got himself an allotment, are you storing the potatoes in those plastic boxes? I might try and get him some, sure Ive seen them behind the fruit and veg stall in town to be thrown away! I see you have lined them with newspaper, and they look washed as well!?:T

they have been hosed and dried we line the boxes with several layers of newspaper then they will not be filled this full as we cover them well with newspaper so no light can get in then stack the boxes in shed we were still eating last years in May just before my earlies were ready in greenhouse have not brought potatoes for 2 years now

When I look on MS there is no mention of there being a 2-4-1 on the batteries. Is it area specific or what could i be doing wrong?
    Any advice please?

they're used as fillers. they're not glitching

Yep, I know they are fillers, but I thought fillers had to be 'comparable' with at least one other shop to count as one of the magic 8 items?

Thank you so much for explaining, cant wait till our allotment gets started with things like this!

I might venture out of grabbits and see if there is an allotment board on MSE too!

Hi rhosynbach , we had a bumper crop of raspberries (sp) this year and as you can see the apples are in goodish order and more than plenty for us and the freecyclers who will be helping themselves this weekend so I guess we,ve been slightly more fortunate than others .
I hope the crops of your neighbours mprove next year as we find that one bad year can lead to a bumper crop the fo.lowing year .

we had a good year last year we have about 40 mixed fruit trees and usually give lots away but this year we had a lot of bad weather when the trees where in bloom so i have only given fruit to family, love raspberries but my ds3 eats them before i pick them so did not got many enough for 6 pots jam..
so kind of you putting them on freecycle i have a neighbour who does not pick them but lets them fall and rot :eek:such a waste
