:eek::eek: DD wants to have a hamster but I have tried to explain to her in friendly terms that it might not be a good idea with 2 cats

Just had a childhood memory of my mum chasing the cat with her brush as it had scooped the goldfish out of the bowl - cat dropped it and mum plopped it back into the bowl and it was fine

We have 2 indoor cats (one Siamese!) plus 2 dogs and my son was begging for a hamster. I wasn't sure at all cos the last thing I wanted was for the poor thing to be frightened to death but I took the plunge 3 weeks ago and adopted a hamster from a lovely lady who rescues them! He is gorgeous and seems to be happy. I didn't think I could fall for a hamster but here we are... Just one warning.. I spent more time cleaning the hamster cage than anything else. Mine (I mean my son's!), at least is the messiest little creature alive!!! :T

If I was your wife I would have a blue fit, all that mess everywhere *shudder* I have to put mine away NEATLY after each shop, put into date order too

I do the date order too! It's just a pity DS usually wants the one with the longest date on it :rotfl: he's under instructions that only 3 different varieties of something to be opened and only when he's on the last of those is he allowed to open more, not that it'll happen that way but he has said that if he doesn't like something he'll take it to my cousin because her kids will eat anything :rotfl:

  • Morning all.

Have actually read every page in this thread (really yes) and is fascinating....is taking over my life reading of everyone's exploits....I have work to do but this is more fun.

One question if I may.......(I read everything as I say but this one is probably obvious but escaping me) ..... the MoneySupkt web site has all the core savings data and I'm reading that as I type. So do I just use that as input on the agp? For example, the Savy buys page has Lake District cheese 350g on a (sains) 2 for 1 £3.99 offer.

How would I use that data to best advantage on an apg?

Understand the trigger items I think, understand the 8 different, 10 item rule. Understand the AvX logic. Also understand the 2,5,8,11 need but not the logic.

Don't fully understand the 1+2 (3 multiple) concept...is this reflecting 3 for 2 offers on MonSupermakt?

As I say I have done my homework and really have read the lot but these couple of steps elude me a bit.

I aspire to a cupboard like scamps1966 but would be happy with more modest gains :-)

If someone could mark my homework and put a couple of teachers notes in that would be great - cheers people

Locarr you obviously have a 'bee in your bonnet' about Henlans list being inaccurate. It never claimed to be a complete list, as it quite clearly says it is a list of products that people have confirmed, and advised Henlans of. You don't like it, so don't use it, but please stop being critical over and over again, it's very boring.

    I don't use it!:p

People have used it and cocked up their shop due to the inaccuracies..

I'm advising folk because it is not gospel and shouldn't be used as such but you carry on!:D
