See above somewhere for Percy :D

Well, I was actually going to pm you... the cigs have started tasting normal again so a little confused as they'd started to taste nasty. I do struggle to smoke more than half a cig though and some do still taste gross, except in the morning, that one still tastes "nice"
I was also feeling a bit sick when smoking so would put it out but that's gone as well!

D-day is Saturday and I'm getting a bit worried now! But I really do think it's habit rather than addiction with me...like if I'm on a shopping trip I will have a smoke in the car, even if I don't want it.
I start the stronger blue pill on Saturday so hoping that will help.

Get a big bag of chubba chub lollies and "spark" one of those up when you get the triggers - mine were in the car, seat belt on mirror signal light a fag, also on the phone, I was mute without a ciggy.

If Saturday comes and you find you are not ready don't beat yourself up adjust your date to monday or wednesday, we were told 2 weeks as we were heavy smokers, the main thing is that you quit in the end xx

  • I just wanted to say that this thread has gone a little bit schoolyard tonight, which is a shame....
As it's a public space, anyone should be able to post anything (within rules and regs) yet Mandyxapa has been slated by several members. I don't know who he/she is or if he/she is genuine, as I don't know who any of you are but are all given the benefit of the doubt. I do see why the comments made got some posters backs up, and as a newbie too, I feel like I should help out regardless of wether he/she is in the right.
I also noticed a comment about Henlans but he/she was immediately defended. I appreciate Henlans is a regular member, and in my opinion an invaluable poster, but he/she was once a newbie too....
I'm off to bed in the hope that tomorrow's posts will be much more friendly.

Lets make one thing clear. Henlans is NOT a regular poster on THIS thread and has no idea what makes this thread what it is and takes no part in the usual antics and discussions on here.

That should tell you all you need to know about him.

All I have to say on the subject.

I'll let him off this once as he has 'man ear infection' which is much much worse than any ear infection ever had by anyone else.:p
