Bless you, it's heartbreaking isn't it, I remember the feelings of guilt with my boys. I spent all day thinking of them feeling abandoned and hating me forever for leaving them.

If it any consolation when I was at Uni I worked part time in a nursery and we had lots of kiddies there who cried as their parents said goodbye, played happily all day and cried again the moment they saw them again! I think they remembered they missed them at that point!

You sound like a fantastic Mum, and your kids are lucky to have you ((hugs))

oh thank you. Thats good to know, im glad youve said that. I did ring them later but I then thought are they telling me the truth or just what I wanted to hear lol
They certainly know how to pull the tears on.

From reading on here though with all the others who are the same of their loved ones going Uni, it sounds like it never stops. I guess ve got that to look forward to in 16 years:eek:
The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have :)

    These look yummy!

Could you post the recipe please?

    8oz self raising flour

4oz fat (I use half butter half lard)

3oz currants (some people use mixed fruit)

3oz sugar & extra for sprinkling

    1 egg

    pinch salt pinch mixed spice

Rub the fat into flour to form breadcrumbs
Add the rest of the ingredients
Form a dough - roll out so its about ¼ thick
I use a glass to cut out rounds of the dough
I use my great nans bakestone but a heavy bottomed non stick frying pan will do, on a med heat, dry fry for about 2-3 mins each side
    Sprinkle with sugar

    Shovel in mouth :)
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)

Anyone know how the crisps might work out? 241 at tosco.

If you bought the Meaty variety and one other then they would be £1.44 each (half of £2.88)

Classic variety and one other = £1.45 each (half of £2.90)
    Born to glitch :D
  • Bedtime stories

I presume they are prosecuting this person for the tailgating, not for using APG's?

    Yes they are.

There are limits on the powers of supermarkets, even those who are members of the Walmart family. ASDA can't prosecute anybody for anything. They might make a complaint to the local plod, and hand over some CCTV. They might decide to investigate. CPS might decide it was worth a charge. Who knows?

You are right - but this person has kicked up such a stink in the shop over the apg's that he was on thier radar - the shop assistant informed me, with a big cheesy grin, that they would always win - and he was wrong to skip out on the 50p parking charge

Which are not legal anyway and will not be persued by the courts should he choose not to pay the parking charge..
I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...

Surely Asda carparking is run by an independant so why are asda staff so concerned. I cant see how they can gain.
