"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

finally the obligatory sunset pic.... which I'm rather partial to! I was quite pleased with it as I had to set the camera up first and then spook the birds into flight and pan with them with settings all ready to get the shot. :)

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks for posting. They are all great but I love the last one. A few months back I showed one of your pics to a photographer friend of mine and he was pretty impressed. :)

When I did my sweet shop I was amazed at the BB dates, most of the Maltesers expiry dates are December 12 and the matchmakers, most expire Oct 12, and a few Dec 12.

I did manage to collect up all the 2013 ones though :D

Oh rats!!!!! Never thought of that. So much for using them for Chrimbo..........:o Will just have to scoff them instead ;)

    I just got trouted

Handed over a £17 apg....well, I had to get rid of it at some point...(I do try and keep them lower, this was a miscalculation)Only a small store so not much choice of SA's.
SA called over suprvisor, who called over manager (actually turned out to be team leader, as Manager had gone home), who went off and got an email which he allowed me to read, stating that there is a scam with the APG's. It said a middle aged woman had been going into stores (did name 2 but cant remember them), and getting a lot of shopping and using an APG to pay, and that all the APG's she has used were high value and all had the same barcode, and were therefore a scam and as mine had the same barcode they were not allowed to take it.
They were also scrutinising what I had bought, how much cash I had spent...(very little)....and how could I have got such a big APG for such little shopping.
I suggested they called their head office, and when they have them on the phone, to bring the phone to me so I could talk to them too. I also advised them that they knew very little about their own system, as every APG £10 and over would have the same barcode....(I didnt say, I know, cos the Elite told me :p...but felt confident of my knowledge...thank you Elite).
Off goes the manager....wait, wait, wait.
Anyway, eventually he comes back and says that they can accept my APG and apologises, as I am correct and the information in the email is wrong, and asks if I would accept a giftcard as a gesture of goodwill.
I tell him and supervisor, that it is a pity that they have been misinformed, and they really should know more about their own system, but I accept that they were following the instructions in the email, so I will be gracious and accept the giftcard.
Supervisor then says, I think it is because we only get small ones, most are £1 ish....:rotfl:....really? I said, Oh I will make sure I visit more often then :D
(I will add that the experience did not bother me....(irritated at the waste of time), but I am rather thick skinned in these situations, but can understand the effect it could possibly have on some other people, so thought I would share)

I was in a store today and the lady checked 1 of my 3 transactions and she did it for me. no hassle.. but she did say that last week someone was being watched for a couple of weeks and they watched them picking up recipets and then making vouchers tally with the recipet. I think this is happened at the same time and they watching out for it.
