one thing i learnt about hollywood films is that they don't stick to what the author created and you have to suspend belief for a while .

It's a pity that so many JR (never heard of him until today) fans will judge the film before watching it but it's easily done as when we read we build up a mental picture in our mind of events, what characters look like etc .
