I always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...
  • arghhh am soooo confused..... Havent been able get online for last 2 days due to work, kids, training, decorating and preparing for DD's 7th bday party, not to mention that Im still getting over a bad cold!!!

Would love to get some chocs for dd's party, have tried to read back as much as poss but time is limited as I have to shop before I pick up youngest dd who is only at school in the mornings this week, am I right in thinking that chocs compare against Ts and that they need to be in multiples of 2? Is there a trigger that I need?

any help is much appreciated xxx

    Morning all,

I have no chance of catching up, I have peeked a bit and see chocolate is the latest As bargain. ;)

I went to Mr Ts yesterday, wish had gone earlier for the stationery bargains as only managed to get the last 3 Oxford refill pads for 60p but the little 2 packs of sellotape are down to 10p, Oxford Geometry sets (just the plastic bits) 20p, Ts own Geometry sets in tins including the compass, rubber etc 40p, subject dividers 10p and lots, lots more. Anyone who has children not gone back to uni yet definitely go and have a look, some things were sold out at mine but you might be luckier.

Be careful as some of the items in the seasonal aisles can also be found in the stationery sections with different barcodes and scanning full price, I nearly got caught out with an Oxford tin geometry set. It was an Extra store.

Had a really good nosey around after I dropped DD1 off for a meal and I was so long that she phoned to say she was ready to be picked up again and I was only just loading up the car.

Found that there were a few good reductions in the coffee aisle too for ground coffee drinkers, all the Starbucks were £1.99 for a 227g bag and some others reduced. Might be the same as earlier this year different varied price drops in different stores.

Back to my washing and ironing today, got the pile down quite a bit yesterday. :)
  • ARE THE NUTS GLITCHING TOO (with the chocolate)?

    did I miss some thing?

My understanding and I use the term loosely as I still have my glitching L plates on is that it includes these products
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/tesco/bundle/609364_53403.html obviously they need to compare firstly.Feel free to correct me if i've got it wrong and I'll wear the dunce hat for the rest of the day
    :)

I was regularly sat on the bottom when i first started. :D

Keep doing it you will find the quiz repeats questions only trouble is you need a good memory :rotfl:

I have been catching up since 9am not started yet :D and its now nearly time to go to work :rotfl:

Hi Tweets , did Poppy enjoy the game last night .

Well said about the quiz and your a super star example of it's 'give it a go ' ethos .
Your scores and performance have improved 100% over time (although we all get a bit of memory loss along the way) and at the end of the day it is what it is ...a bit of fun .

Pity about City throwing away the game the other night eh ...:rotfl:

Aargh...messed up another cleaning shop - the Viakal was out of stock and I forgot to put another product in to make up the nos. Still, got 3 products at a lovely price. Interestingly the rice compared as A38p and Ws 48p too on that one!!!! On the chin, me thinks.

Change of subject: One of my guilty pleasures are the Jack Reacher books - could never admit this to my book club girls - and I've just seen in the Daily Snail that Tom Cruise is playing the role in a forthcoming film! Tom Cruise? TOM CRUISE?!! I can't believe it - Jack Reacher is 6'3", over 220lbs and wears size 3XL - he's a big man! And Tom Cruise...well, need I say more. Disappointed I am! :(

Tom Cruise certainly doesn't fit my mental image of Jack Reacher ! I love the books but I'll give the film a miss as TC would spoil my fantasies.
