  • Jeez that's some cocktail
The scary thing with my Dad though was that he was still in pain taking all of them. Thankfully he's doing better than he was and is back at work now and not taking anywhere near that amount of tablets anymore.

Right really am away to bed this time! Goodnight!

Glad your dad feeling better now. Funny things painkillers. I was still in pain with that lot:rotfl:

On the subject of pain killers, my mum has a cocktail too, fentynol patches 50mcgs, plus oromorph and paracetamols. Shes in hospital again due to another fall and she started getting confused, unable to eat or drink, or even swallow, incontinent, seeing things, sluring her speech, dribbling, not recognising me, unable to even lift her head or speak, very tearfull etc till I realised she looked very similar to last summer when her GP put her on baclofen which is a wicked drug! Last time she was at home and she was falling asleep on the loo, into her dinner, etc, told then that she had an adverse reaction and it was not suitable for her...!!!!!! bu&&er me, the hospital have put her back on it, TWICE as much as she was on in summer '11.:eek:

Thankfully two days ago the medics finally listened to me and have took her off it, it will take a few days still before its out of her system, but she spoke to me today and even had a drink with a straw, so Im hoping she will continue to improve slightly now!:)
Glad the medics finally listened and your mum is on the mend.:)
My OH can't take tramadol they make her very ill. Even had to change the anesthetic(excuse spelling) at dentist as it same family of drugs.

    Pain Killers.
Please let me tell you my story
I was admitted to hospital with very bad breathing problems.
After 3 days on the wards....I was admitted to ICU as they could see I was declining.
I had refused morphine as a pain killer on the wards....as i new it would make breathing even harder.

On admission to icu they wanted to put me on morphine....which i fought, but in the end accepted...as i was told i were in the best place in the hospital for this!
2 hours later i were told that i would have to have a small cut in my throaght,as i would need to be hooked up to a machine an be put into a induced coma....to rest my body.
As I at the time was fighting for my life in "my mind" I asked Why.
I was told that my blood gasses had dropped.....at this i fought the decision...as morphine had reduded my gasses.

I were told that morphine was used to reduce my pain....to which i replied it had not...and asked to be taken off,as this had reduced my blood gasses.

After listening the consultant took me of morphine...then came back a couple of hours later took blood again....then returned to tell me i was right....my blood gasses had risen.

So please beware of painkillers as they can have a adverse effect!

p.s. I was suffering from double pneumonia.
And please free to pass this on to anyone who may listen,as i do not subscribe to social networks. Thanks

If you can find it, there is a small 14 wash Lenor fabric conditioner in T's for £1, so free with the coupon in the mag. Found one left in Ch3sterfi3ld.
  • Amazing photos FK, you are very talented.

I remember people having similar probs with the tesco dtd - i think someone can up with the possibility of leaving a paper trail by recycling vouchers which could connect email/ip addys. I think i use to recycle a max of 4-5 times & then start a new chain with cash.

    Hope that makes sense!

Have you tried the incognito thing on chrome?

Just got back my one for the evening & finally got it right!

    Nice shop!
    Yes tried chrome incognito.

I'll try and get these vouchers printed somehow, then kill them with 'normal shopping' and start afresh. I've been working on the assumption if the system can allow glitches like this, then they don't have a system to track the trail of apg coupons? So I've really just been using them one after another in a cycle, it's easier but sloppier should there be fall out from all of this.
