phew...caught up on here now....not only does my car not know whether to go to Ts or As...my head doesnt know whether to plan vT, vW or vS shops...and now my fingers dont know which thread we're on
thanks for the new thread FK
Question for Frequent if you're still online...or anyone else that can help....whats the easiest way for me to get wax crayon off painted walls (some wallpapered, others just paint on plaster) ?? not so DD2 decided to decorate this morning...done a grand job bless her...always wanted orange and green squiggles on my walls
it will all get painted in the near future anyway...but if my memory serves me right, when my friends DS did this on my hallway years ago, I had to gloss the walls to get rid of it, then emulsion over the top!!! I was told to coat with pva gllue then paint over...but this didnt work
You can also heat the drawing with a hair dryer and wipe it off, the heat melts the wax making it easy to come off.
Thanks for the new thread FK, looks like it getting back to how these threads used to be. :cool:Remember You're a Womble !! Keep Tesco Tidy. :beer:0 -

You beat me to it
Same here - even though it did get a bit hectic in the last few threads I managed to read every single post (almost). Have saved an absolute fortune on things I would normally buy (but not in such vast amounts) so I'd like to say a HUGE thanks to you all again. It'd be nice to get to know you all a bit better though when it does calm down, if there's such a thing.
Thanks for the new thread FK :T0 -
Good evening all - lovely to come back on here, like wrapping myself in a nice warm comfy blanket
Just had a lovely dinner - one of the cheap moroccan tagines from A's with chicken, served with cous cous with chopped jalopenos, chopped mushrooms (cheap jar from Lidl) and a few peanuts thrown in. It was really nice, just hope I can find the tagine sauce again! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
