THESE ARE FIVE NICE RIDDLES....THE ANSWERS ARE AT THE BOTTOM....
READ THESE CAREFULLY, THEY ARE A BIT TRICKY; DON’T JUMP TO A CONCLUSION, THINK IT OUT. THIS SHARPENS THOSE NERVES IN THE BRAIN : )
* * *

1. A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three
rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of
assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that
haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
2. A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over
5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But five minutes later they both
go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this
be?
3. What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and grey when
you throw it away ?
4. Can you name three consecutive days without using the words
Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday?
5. This is an unusual paragraph. I'm curious as to just how quickly
you can find out what is so unusual about it. It looks so ordinary
and plain that you would think nothing was wrong with it. In fact,
nothing is wrong with it! It is highly unusual though. Study it and
think about it, but you still may not find anything odd. But if you
work at it a bit, you might find out. Try to do so without any
coaching!
THE ANSWERS TO ALL FIVE THE RIDDLES ARE BELOW:
Answers:
1. The third room. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead.
That one was easy, right?
2. The woman was a photographer. She shot a picture of her husband,
developed it, and hung it up to dry (shot; held under water; and
hung).
3. Charcoal, as it is used in barbecuing.
4. Sure you can name three consecutive days, yesterday, today, and tomorrow!
5. The letter e, which is the most common letter used in the English
language, does not appear even once in the paragraph.

adoreholidays wrote: »Hi I also noticed when I was buying the rice for the coke shop the SEL stated 70p 3for£2 in A's but receipt charged 94p. Now not sure if this is useless info but checked the MSM site still saying 94p. When I noticed I then wasn't sure if the 70p would have made a difference to APG but turned out fine as compared at 94p as on MSM. The 70p sel was also on custard which was also working with the coke but all others still had the 94p.
Silly me also now realise could have gone to customer services for over charge:doh:but suppose better not to and keep below radar:rotfl:
I got overcharged on my Chocolate weetabix yesterday but did not want my receipt written on, my APG worked fine so will have the money back that way anyway.0 -

Hello Elite,
Well my shopping has arrived early but I am missing 2 Aussie items, but I do have the rice pot. So instead of 11 other items I only have 9
I do hope it compares to what was ordered again and not what was delivered?
I shall have to wait to see how I get on in a few hours?
Hey ho onwards and upwards.
Hope everyone is ok? I shall try and catch up now but will have to play skipping as well.

HI all, I did post last night to say I'm back from my holiday!
My broadband is down so I'm on a rubbish dongle at the moment, this means I've got no chance of catching up on the two whole threads I missed in a week because it keeps disconnecting. Can someone please tell me what the deal is with the cereals, and what I should be combining with it please?
Hope we're all well, looking forward to catching up on all your news!
Welcome backhope you had a fab time
I'm sure someone will have filled you in, but if not PM me and I will fill you in0 -
Just back from a cereal shop and noticed lots of reduced prices since yesterday. Could this alter the glitch you think? Will bring you my results this afternoon when I get back home.0
