  • Thankyou everyone for your kind words. :A

I really do appreciate them, poor Dad had bowel cancer but now its in his bladder. Its a big operation for someone who is 77.

Still there is no option he has to try this and hopefully he will be ok? The chemo didn't work but he was very poorly whilst having the chemo and he missed 2 weeks of it.

Its sad and it puts things/life into perspective.

JJ I too hope Cosmic Dust is ok and it would be sad if she wasn't lurking as she wouldn't know that she is missed as you say.

She did say that her M H nurse was coming to see her and she thought that she would be sectioned.

Its very sad because as we all can have a laugh and discuss these glitches, but behind it all when someone is hurting so much and we have no way of knowing then it just makes you feel so sad that they are in such a terrible way. Thats why I hope she has family or someone to take care of her.

Bless her if she is lurking it would be nice to hear from her. :A

Ok Budgie needs to go to bed now. Take care everyone and big hugs (())

at the minute my dad who is 60 has been in birminghams qe for 7 weeks with hodgkins lymphoma(cancer of blood/liver/splene) was only given 24hrs back then but has been so strong and is now back at shrewsbury and as u say the chemo knocks them for 6. He had to have 10+ litres of fluid drained of him due to malnutrition.
as u say it puts things in perspective as weve had to rally round my mum as shes disabled and take her to see my dad every day

be strong and hugs from me
  • Thanks Stinky :A xxx

(See Stinky is more warm and fluffy or if you prefer we could go for Stinky Poo ;))

Ok I've got me coat, but seriously Mrs Stinkface is too formal, it has to be shortened.

We could put names in a hat if you prefer? ;)

And for goodness sake where is Pam? She has been gone hours now for that poo

Lol, stinky will do just fine :rotfl:
Perky will be back soon you can bet ya life on it. :p
I'm off to bed anyway. Take care everybody.

I remember that glitch only lasted a day or two. By the time I had got to the store, it didn't work!:(
But, I have enjoyed many other glicthes like the Frijj one, Lurpak e.t.c:D

i loved the fact that i miscalculated the OEP products, even with all my extras thrown in, (i was a novice Locarr before you start! :p) and it totalled to a negative amount. CS said they couldn't give me the money the till said they owed me but i could certainly take the shopping :T:T:T:T:T
And that made every meal all the more enjoyable :D

I think around that time too nikkilala was giving up smoking and placing loads of candles around the office to neutralise Mr Lalas cigarette smells :rotfl:
  • It does compare to waitys! Ignore henlans, he's clearly suffering battle fatigue! :rotfl:

When I put what I want into my supermarket it says that sainsburys is cheaper????

    Who are these amateurs ?

    :D

I had the same thought. Anything non-glitchy that I have to buy goes into either a W, S or T comparable shop to give me a better return :D

  • Hi all,

Just popping in to say I'm back from my holiday, but my broadband is down and I'm on a very unreliable dongle. I can see I've got no chance of catching up ( there's been two whole threads in my week's absence!). If anyone could send me a quick PM telling me anything important I've missed I'd be grateful - and I don't just mean glitch-wise, I mean any news from any of the threadees!
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Thankyou and big hugs to you too (()), what a terrible time you all have had. Your Dad is indeed a very strong, bless him he is clearly a fighter and that I think can make alot of difference. My Mum has her own health issues too.

I just hate cancer its such a terrible disease and it seems that in one way or another everyone is touched by it in some way or another.

Hopefully one day someone will find a cure for it.

But you take care too, you sound like you have a big mountain to climb. :A

But, toothpaste does need its own trigger when comparing against waitr*se, don't rely on the rice pot to do the trick!

    I'm well aware of that!:D

I was refering to another of the mistakes on the fantastic list that says the dental compares with T's....

So I will again repeat, do NOT rely on the list:cool:
