Nope you only have 5 different items, multiples of the same item don't count, add a white mouse 10p, giant white button 10p and a pkt of tangtastics 10p. Just to be on the safe side I would also buy a single banana and apple.

I both my apgs the other day when asda decided not to compare 1 of my fillers on each receipt, even though they had previously. So I would now say get 10 different items to be as sure as you can be.

Dont you need an ambrosia pot with the coke shop. Think its the 120g original or chocolate rice pot. but please check as Im confused too :o

Morning all, I'm in school in ppa room, non teaching day today and last day of inspection. I wish I was teaching, think I would be more relaxed and time would go quicker. Fingers crossed we get a good report back at 4ish.

I have decided I am going out for a meal tonight either to celebrate or comfort each, lol.

Hi Flo Flo, Good luck with your reports today! I bet its very nerve racking but i am sure you will all be fine. Is it an ofsted thingyme dobob??
Enjoy your meal out, will you be going anywhere nice....not a asda cafe I hope!!:rotfl:
  • Good morning all

I have a confession to make - I haven't been to Asda for 2 days!! I was getting sick of the sight of it and I was only doing one shop per day. Also, I don't think many people are doing this down here as the SA's are always surprised to see APG vouchers even though they put them through ok. My last one was for £20 and a supervisor had to authorise it but she was fine and said to the SA yes this matches ok, put it through but there is someone putting through £50 and £60 ones and we have to watch for them. So whoever you are, if you are using the Br**dstairs Asda, they are on to you!

During my "break" I popped to the small Tesco in Cl*ft*nv*lle and found a big box full of the new mags with ALL the inserts in so I helped myself to *a few*
The Mr Kipling coupons all turned out to be for 25p each and are not store specific so I will use them later today in Asda if the cake glitch is still on.

Note to Calmspirit - if you can't get any mags in the M*dw*y area let me know and I will try to get some for you down here

Thanks to everyone who posts their results -it really helps!

Thanks for the info on the mags, will pop over this afternoon.
R*msgate Asda wouldnt take my £12 apg at all, refused point blank, so i went to C*nterbury and used it there instead.

Noooooooo - ambrosia rice small pot with waitrose (cereal, cleaning, shampoo)
Ambrosia can or rice pudding or custard 400g against sainsbury shop which is coke and cheese
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

  • Morning all :)

Another day of cleaning for me - seeing as I have all lovely new products to use! I'm hoping to get all clear and do the bedroom carpet with the big Vanish from AvW.

I also want to try that Barkeepers Friend, will go looking in the kids room - theres bound to be a stain or two in there!

I feel like a kid at christmas :D

Yes, if those start glitching, i'll be stocking up too ;)

I use old jars. Sometimes I out a request on freecycle for baby jars (perfect size for gifting) and I repay them with a jar of my last batch:)

Even pickle jars can be used again
. It takes a few washes to remove lingering smells but bicarbonate works wonders. If you are making chutneys then it doesn't matter anyway.

    :)
If you know anyone with a pool, ask them for a chlorination tablet, crunch it up and dissolve a little bit in water and fill stinky jars, leave for a day and rise well.
