I'm going to try your banana jam soon as I get some woopsie bananas & buy some jarsdo you buy your jars or could I sterilise old ones that have had other things like pickle or mayo ect?

I use old jars. Sometimes I out a request on freecycle for baby jars (perfect size for gifting) and I repay them with a jar of my last batch:)
Even pickle jars can be used again. It takes a few washes to remove lingering smells but bicarbonate works wonders. If you are making chutneys then it doesn't matter anyway.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A
