I would say you had a lucky escape. Why pay for christmas on credit and then spend all of next year until next christmas paying it off?'No one can make you feel bad without your permission'

There's no legal lower age limit as far as I'm aware. You can borrow money at any age.0 -

If you call them you may find out why and you may be able to fix it. If very won't give you credit you have a serious issue on your credit files. They have exceptionally low lending criteria.
Lenders like barclaycard and very don't just change their minds on a whim. You have an issue and sticking your head in the sand and ignoring them won't solve it.June challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving

Not true. Case in question I wanted a Miele V cleaner and did a google search and Very came out cheapest at £149.00. I applied for an account and was given £1k credit limit but ask them to reduce to £150 because I would not use the account again.
The deal I got was pay nothing for 12 months and if paid in full by November then no interest charges would be applied.
So if you do your research carefully they can be a good company to buy from.0 -
And which 'price comparison lists' would they be?
Just asking, you understand.
As Mable has said, google search and the like.
Not quite sure of the wording of your question, sounds a bit condescending.
With regards to the OP, why would you not want to speak to customer services? In my personal experience every time I've spoke to them they've been very helpful and courteous. Why would you come and rant and rave on here and then when you are given a solution decide not to go with it?0 -
When I opened my very account I placed my order but somehow it didn't go through so I phoned them up and asked. They said because I was a new customer and buying something on credit they needed to authorise the first transaction by verifying my details.
They may want to do the same with yourself.BSC Member 3510 -
