Working out Pro rata Salary? Please advise.

Hi All,

I want to apply for a job which is 30 hours per week.

The salary is: £15,670 - £19,730 Pro Rata.

How do I work out what the actual salary is likely to be?

I haven't got a clue so would appreciate your help.

well assuming that the pro rata is bassed on 37.50 hours.

30/37.50 * 15,670 = 12356
30/37.50 * 19,730 = 15784

so £12,356 - £15,784

The pro rate might be based on more than 37.5 hours though...

Or based on fewer hours.

You need to find out what a full-time employee is expected to work. Then divide by those number of hours and multiply by 30.
