Hi,
Could someone tell me how to clean the marks (water stains?) off a stainless steel kettle. Washing up liquid doesn't work.
Many thanks:)

I've not tried it, but howabout white vinegar on a cloth to dissolve the limescale?"Save £12k in 2019" #120 - £100,699.57/£100,0000

You need an acid to dissolve the calcium deposit - vinegar or lemon juice or a little bit of a liquid descaler, dampen a cloth with it.
The baby oil is great for keeping the shine. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
Barkeep(er)s Friend may work for this. It's usually sold in the cleaning aisle of supermarkets and you could check the label there.:A Thanks to all the lovely people who contribute their advice! :A0

I use vinegar on a damp cloth - it's so easy and takes off all the water marks.
Any vinegar will do0 -
I use some stuff called Astonish. It comes in a little blue tub and is like hard Vim. (If you remember it). I get it from the pound shop.0
