Arrangements with Credit Card Providers

I have been told by a work colleague that she was able to organise an arrangement with her credit card provider, for the interest to be zero rated, and that it didn't have any impact on her credit file. Is anyone aware of this happening to them? If you do get an arrangement, is it marked on your credit file, for 6 years?
Thank you for any help available.

I think it would show on your credit file if you have an arrangement to pay, and if so it would stay for 6 years.
Been here for a long time and don't often post

Arrangements will stay for 6 years after the account is settled. So arrange to pay back over 5 years it will stay on for 11 years. Not as bad as a default but will affect decent credit for a long time potentially.:beer:0
