I received a parcel in the post from the BBC:
Malcolm Middleton - A Brighter Beat - which I was considering buying myself the other day, but had only heard one song who wasn't sure
CSS - Cansei De Ser Sexy
Findlay Brown - Separated by the Sea
No mention of what they were for, so I'm thinking maybe they were from the cut off sleeves competition - they seem the right kind of music for 6 Music. Thanks to everyone who trawls through the album covers to find the answers.
