CIS Table A (Endowment)

Does any1 out there in MSE land know much about the CIS table A policy.
I have 2 of these under performing policies, the 1st of which I took out when i was only 17yrs. I was expecting a maturity pay day of 87000+ when it matures in 2012 (25yrs paid in).
I have since been told by a CIS financial agent that I will be lucky to get back what I have paid in. Apparently for the last 5 years it has only been paying and annual fixed bonus of only 0.4%.
(This has got to be the lowest of any financial investment) or are there lower 1's.
Can I make a claim as I feel I have been totally missold these policies.
PLEASE PLEASE HELP.................

You could have been in a FTSE100 tracker and got about the same.

You have not been mis-sold. Investment returns are not grounds for complaint.

At the time of taking one of these out, they were the main investment product for most people in the UK. Just because they have died a death in more recent years doesnt make the advice bad.
