Photos!

Here you go people! We had such a fab day, thanks so much to everyone on here especially Tiara, Hadley1, Hollie84, Wanchai and White Sapphire for all your help!

We did all the flowers and decorations ourselves, I made the chair covers from tulle and made 122 flowers from fabric for them! Made the favour boxes/place settings too. We did spend a lot on the photos and the food, and I bought my dress with some money I got from life insurance since my mum would have made my dress for me had she been alive. We got bargains with the venue, drink, the stuff we made (we did the invitations and thankyou cards too), the bridesmaids dresses, the music, er, think that's it!

I really had fun chatting on here in the build-up and I hope to stick around to carry on talking weddings! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

What lovely pictures :) The flowers look stunning - you did a great job with them! Did you order the flowers online or from a florist?

I'd also love to know how you did the chair sash cover thingys and flowers on the chairs like image 0276 - they totally transformed the chairs!

I'm new to the wedding boards so hadn't met you before but congrats on your wedding, looks like a wonderful day!

Thanks! I ordered the flowers from a florist, a friend's mum, but I found out the roses I wanted by looking on the net. Plus I raided my jungle/garden for the greenery!

I made the chair sashes from ivory tulle I got off ebay - I ordered 3 rolls of 40m x 2m. I cut it into 1m x 2m lengths and tied it round the chair backs with ribbon. I was well pleased because the chairs were not that great but to hire others would have been like 300 quid and the covers cost £40 altogether! I got the tulle from America, LOADS cheaper even with import duty.
