I've no idea if this is a good deal, but as people know I'm on MSE they forward me deals incase they're not listed:
Hi,
If anyone is looking for a top end laptop, Toshiba have miss-priced this range on an update today. I was looking to buy last week and this one was £1799, today £1198.50 over £600 saving.
Maybe worth a look see if there are any other errors.
It is Toshiba direct sales, and know they are honouring the price if ordered today.

Looks very good to me. Decent GFX card, 1900x1200 resolution screen and HD-DVD drive.
Yeah, looks a very high spec.if i had known then what i know now0 -
Doubt that it is mispriced though at almost £1200.Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0

Looked this one up on kelkoo and the best price for this model is £1803.60, I did look a few others and the prices found are similar. I haven't had a good look at the spec but notice that the operating system is windows XP - many now include windows vista, depends what you are looking for.0

Intel® Centrino® Duo Mobile Technology featuring Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7200- Genuine Windows® XP Media Center Edition- 200 (100 + 100) GB Hard Disk Drive- 2,048 (1,024+1,024) MB DDR2 RAM (533 MHz)- 17" Toshiba TruBrite® WUXGA TFT display- HD DVD-ROM drive
T7200 - Good, not the usual 5?00s you see on cheaper laptops. 2 Hard Drives, unusual, but still good. 2gb ram, a must for a serious laptop buyer.
Packed with ports of all types.
I just recently bought a Zoostorm of a fairly similar spec (except standard DVD writer, just the 1 160gb drive, and only capable of a lower screen resolution) for £900, and consider it a bargain. Given this Toshiba has the ability to expand the ram even further (mine doesn't), has the Bluetooth built in (I had to buy a card to add on), and of course, its a Toshiba and so looks rather cool, its not a Bad buy. Could perhaps do with going maybe £100-150 lower though before it becomes a bargain.0 -
Gone up now to £1299Middlers0
