30 30th gifts for an unwell friend

Hi, my best friend turns 30 just after Christmas do trying to be prepared. I need to post the gifts and am looking for ideas. We both have ME, she can go out sometimes and spend part of the day out of bed but the rest of the time she spends in bed. She would love for us to go to a centre parcs spa but I'm unable to do that but will include a note saying IOU one day.

So far I've got,
Giant silver balloon K (she's a Kate)

And that's it! I'm going to try and find one of those self inflating balloons as the one from her 21st is a running joke
Maybe something craft related (she makes cards)
Maybe a bath bomb cupcake

Any ideas much appreciated

  • What sort of budget? Could you maybe get her vouchers for a local beauty salon so she could go & get a massage / nails done or whatever takes her fancy & add your one day IOU with it?
  • Oooooh, I like that idea, thank you :) I've not got any particular budget in mind as I would love to spoil her (I don't mean money wise but with thoughtful/nice gifts).
