Hi all, looking at my credit file i have a bank account with HSBC that went into default due to the £1400 overdraught, it has now been passed to their Metropolitan collections ( 12 Aug 2012 ) which i have agreed a monthly repayment of £40, i'm wondering why i have the original debt showing on my file but nothing showing for Metropolitan showing i have at least made a payment ?
All new to me this being finacially aware but it is sinking in, this morning i have struck a new deal with BT that will save around £60 per quater
...i'm learning all be it slowly.

they are their in house collectionsDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

So that means it will stay as default untill it's settled ?
Today phone bills sorted, £60 a quater saved with BT & mobile sim only for all the family, too random to put a figure on but just 2 mobiles last 2 months £300  Now all 5 for £57 a month & everything capped so no extra charges :money:LBM 8/9/12 :j Owe £9103 8/9/12 :eek:0 -

it'll stay marked default until 6 years after the default date and then the whole account will be removed from your credit record, settled or not.Defaultless as of 12th Sept 2012BugsyBrowne wrote: »Listen here default Dave why don't you take your bullsh*t and stick it up your defaulted ar*e and then stick your defaulted credit report and stick it in your defaulted gob.0 -
