If you order stuff online from Boots, you can't exchange it, you can only get a refund. So I am either stuck with a broken innotab or I have to get a refund but I won't be able to buy another for £42 now will I! :(

That's dreadful according to Boots website: "You can return any unwanted items free of charge within 28 days for a refund or replacement. Unfortunately we aren't able to exchange items." Might be worth contacting trading standards or asking to speak to the manager at your local store.

Try calling Vtech up,, and explain that it is broken, from past experience they have asked me to send the broken one to tehm and they replace it. no exxtra money to pay out X
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec

That's a bit unfair seeing as its faulty. You could buy another one from Boots at the full price. You could then take the broken one back under the full price receipt. It's a long winded and inconvenient way of getting an exchange but at least you wont lose out on the half price offer.

And, thanks for sharing, I didn't know that about Boots and I've also bought an innotab from them. I'll have to go and check mine is working too.

Have you asked for an exchange? I ordered an expensive double buggy from boots online and after a couple of months the hinge broke. Phoned them up and they offered refund or exchange. Took broken one to a store, they rang online confirmed they'd had the return and a new one was shipped that day, received the next.

I read that as being able to replace something that's in some way faulty... but not being able to decide you want a different product instead (which is the 'no quibble' type guarantee).
