Help trace the comfiest bed I ever had!

Hey guys,

A challenge for the mattress experts!

Over the years I've had a few mattresses but I've never came across one as comfy as the one I had about 15 years ago called a Sealy 'Superstore'.

Superstore was the actual name of it on the label and it was one of their posturepedic ones.

From memory it came with a base that had 2000 springs in it, the base that is not the mattress.

It did not have any memory foam or latex and I don't know if it was pocket springs ect

For the life of me I can't seem to find this bed anywhere online, and I've been searching on and off over the years.

Anyone ever heard of this model or where I can get more info on it?

Just want to find the spec it had so I can have a look at something as close to it as possible.

Contact Sealy and ask them what the closest thing is called nowadays.

Already done before I posted and awaiting their reply.

Was hoping there was something obvious I was just overlooking and someone could point me in the right direction though.

    Thanks for the reply

For anyone that's looking for a new bed I'd recommend having a look at the Sealy Backcare Elite.

Got a nice reply from Sealy and apparantly that's their current closest match to the one I had years ago except that there are no springs in the base, apparantly that's an older fashioned thing :/

Anyway I'm gonna pop into archers on the way home to have a look/lie down.

Dunno why I'm teasing myself with it though as bought a new mattress 2/3 years ago and no where near the time for a replacement...

    ..d@mm it!

You can't put a price on the right matress though and the Elite may not be available when you think it is "right" time to change

(you wanted someone to say that, didn't you :rotfl:)
