Hi today I received a letter from a company that purchased a debt from Loylds bank say I owe them £10k. It's been over 7 years since I had any lloyds cards or bank account. Am I correct in saying that this debt is not legally enforced!

Assuming it's not a mortgage shortfall, then would likely be statute barred.

Have a look through the info and links in the link in my previous post.
If you are sure the debt is statute barred, then there are letters to send.
If you are not sure, then give National Debtline a call to talk it through with someone. Freephone 0808 808 4000.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
