Could I ask for some advice please?

Hi, I have received a grey Royal Mail card through the door this morning saying they cannot deliver a package because there's a customs charge and if I want to collect it, it will cost me over £20! Like a lot of people at the moment, £20 is a lot of money, especially as I don't know what it is! Is there any way of finding out?

Could I just ask if this has happened to anyone else and what you did, please.

Many thanks for your help.

Thank you all for taking the time to answer and I am sorry to report there was no competition win but a couple of T-shirts I ordered for my DD ages ago and forgot about! I had ordered stuff before and never had to pay any extra so stupidly did not realise.

Very sorry to have wasted all your time :o
