I need help spending £75 in a sensible way on good cheap things please.
I go in to Sainsburys every week for coffee, love their £2.55 for 300g coffee! they've been trying to tempt me to come over for years with £3 off next £20 vouchers that print at the self serve, but I never want twenty quids worth of coffee.
Today, on my weekly coffee run, instead of the usual £3, it spat out 3000 Nectar points for my first online spend of £75+ - so with payday on 20th, I'm thinking I might spend £75 in Sainsburys instead of ASDA to get the points (that'll buy plenty of coffee when we're hard up).
What is good and worth buying in the economy ranges in Sainsburys that I will like? I am an ultimate value/smart price kind of girl, 27p pasta, 29p curry sauce - that kind of thing etc, don't buy much in the way of fresh fruit/veg, you know, a bag of apples a week, lettuce, tomatoes etc.
I have two Labradors that could get their food in there if there's a good dry food they'll like, I have a 9 year old who takes packed lunch to school and a husband who spends at least an hour a day repeatedly opening the fridge and standing there disappointed. No one is on a diet and we don't drink alcohol.
My usual ASDA shop is £40ish a week, and then probably another £10 in bits I go back for, so it's not too much more than I usually spend, I am just in unknown territory and don't know what they sell that's worth having. I checked bit on line and they don't seem to do bogof's or any of those kinds of good offers like Tesco's does.
Any one have any suggestions please? or if there's a good thread somewhere already, direct me please.

Would probably be a bit easier if you bought wine etc but you have said you don't drink alcohol.
There was/is a thread somewhere on here dedicated to the Sainsbury Basics range. Have a hunt for it, it shouldn't be too many pages back.
I like the Basics chopped tomatoes, they come in a tetra pack rather than a tin, so it helps if you have recycling facilities for those locally. I like Basics squash, but the wife isn't keen on it. Basics crunchy peanut butter is good. Basics Brie is superb, but obviously doesn't have a huge shelf life so you cant buy much in one go.
Is there anything available on the site that you can buy as Christmas presents?0
