Some good news! I got a letter today from one of my creditors - dreaded opening it as thoughts of demands for the immediate payment of the debt etc went through my mind.
Finally plucked up the courage to open the letter to find it was actually a letter agreeing to the monthly payment offered under my DMP and agreeing to freeze interest at 0% and not to apply any charges to the account !!!!! Well done MBNA. One down - 3 to go! Hopefully they will all go that smoothly (although I'm sure they won't)

That is great news, one down and it wasn't that bad after all, I hope the rest are as easy for you too.

Are you sleeping better now?

I had my first good nights sleep after sending in all the paperwork knowing that I was finally taking responsibility for the mess I had created for myself. It felt good to know I was paying it back, albeit over a longer period of time, but they will get every penny back I borrowed and I learned so many lessons along the way. Still have about 5 and a half years to go but I am ok with that.
