Debt Collection

Not sure if this is the correct section. I have had 2 phone calls from a company called Westcot, asking to speak to my son. They were very cagey about who they were, and when I Googled them I was horrified to learn they were a debt collection agency. My wife and I have never been in debt and the fact that a debt collection agency is ringing us has us very worried. My son has not stayed with us for years and we have no ties with him. Is there any way we can stop this company pestering us and get them to remove our number from their records?We are very woried that they may send someone to our door. Please help and advise.
