Can I ask you a question?

Hi all

Any advice, thoughts or past experiences, muchly appreciated!

Me and my OH visited the Britannia BS at the weekend to enquire about a mortgage, I didn't want to be credit checked that day because I have recently paid off 3 accounts and wanted this to be reflected on my file. So, we are going back next week on Tuesday. The advisor looked at all the figures with us and spoke to the underwriter, basically, we are putting down at £10k deposit and borrowing a lot less than we perhaps could do, we have debt but it's all still looking rather affordable on paper, we have been told in a round about way, that as long as we both pass the credit check next week, we're there.... So here's the potential problem and question:

My OH has a perfect credit score and record but mine has been damaged, I have missed payments on my file and my overall score on experian is currently 613 out of 1000. I know that all companies score differently so it's impossible to say but do you think this will pass and get us this mortgage? I am so annoyed as my future depends on a score that I wish I could have avoided getting low!

Thank you in avance for any advice....

Still in debt but with a positive attitude and enjoying watching it decrease each month.
