BPO Collections & Anglia UK

Hello,

I have bury my head in the sand syndrome. After 2 Door step agent calls this week I can't hide anymore.

Anglia I feel were unfair, their letter arrived yesterday giving me 2 days to call them. Their agent arrived yesterday and a letter arrived today telling me he was coming. I owed £1100 to finish paying for my car - My husband was giving me our debt/shopping/petrol money and as he's self employed I sometimes get nothing and have to squeeze money from bills if I can to buy food. Since the summer I have had to find a way to manage on my wages and benefit money and get virtually nothing from him anymore. PSA have relayed back to the Anglia agent that I have 13 days to come up with £600 and they will then accept £150 x 6 months to clear the debt. My offer yesterday was £50 a week (from my food shopping money). PSA have said their offer is more in my favour. The Anglia agent said the account with PSA was due to be terminated on 28th September - What does this mean? And can they refuse to accept my offer?

With regard to BPO - they are chasing £145 I owe to Virgin, that I do not owe to Virgin. I only owe Virgin £34 and they have been refusing to acknowledge my requests to cancel my account with them since the 17th May 2012. I have the emails and have sent them to BPO and they will not accept any less than £65 to unsuspend my services and then I can pay the rest off to virgin at xyz a week and once it's clear they will close my account....? This was from a phone conversation at the start of the week going in circles with the guy on the phone I owe vs what they say I owe. They sent me a letter today warning me of doorstep action and asking for immediate payment. Do I pay the £34 and send them a polite letter telling them to sing for the rest, including copies of repeated cancellation the emails?

Many Many Thanks in advance x
