Seller changed mind due to bank delaying decision

Hi,
I applied for a property mortgage to buy to live and it has been over a month still bank has not decided if they want to go ahead providing a mortgage with that property. They keep delaying on petty issues like dampness, extension etc. Now talking to the estate agent it seems like they have started looking for another buyer which means the bank charges so far(over £600) will all be a a waste for me.
What can I do. Is there a place where I could give my feedback the way bank treatment my application? I just want people to be aware about the bank / branch and my experience. So people can benefit from my experience.
Many Thanks,
Sarah

Nothing really. Is there a place where I could give my feedback the way bank treatment my application?
You can complain to the bank but it doesnt seem there is anything wrong being done. The surveyor has identified issues with the property. The mortgage cannot go ahead until the issues are resolved. The vendor will have the same problem with others unless its a cash buyer who doesnt get a survey.I just want people to be aware about the bank / branch and my experience. I dont know why you are blaming the bank from protecting themselves and you from buying a property with issues.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
