Credit Report advice needed!!

Hi Everyone,
Just looking for a little advice, I have recently paid £4000 off one of my credit cards and my credit report updated today but did not show this. Now i know it will probably come off next month but we have just seen a house that we would like to go for (1st time buyers) and was wondering if there was anyway to get this report updated quicker.
I have been googling and came across something called "Rapid rescore" Apparently you can ring the card holder and ask them to manually update the credit report and wanted to ask if any of you knew anything about this, the card i have just paid the amount off is Barclaycard and wondered if anyone had any experience of this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
Ian

Hi,
I dont know too much about this, but if it were me I would call Barclays and ask the question, the worst they can say is no, but they might just be able to do it for you.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.Been here for a long time and don't often post
