Ridonculously quiet October, Ive even started looking through MF daily for poorly paid bookies. :(

Same here. September was dead too.

I've had to resort to looking on REACT even though I know they will never accept me for any jobs. Talking of which does anyone actually get any allocations off them? If so, what is your average mark? 50 out of 10?

    Just a quick one...

When you buy memory cards for video work would you put them cost through as a day to day expense or as capital equipment like the cost of the camera rig?

Average mark is 9. Most of the stuff I've done with them has been theme park visits and cinemas.
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk

I go through phases with them - have had a few jobs recently. They seem to be taking away mileage but slightly increased fees at the moment.

I've had like 15 closed on me now on the trot. With an average rating of 10, I thought I would get what I asked for. Oh well, their loss I guess.

RE pizza for me tonight. Woohoo. :D:D:D

It's a consumable (like film used to be). It will not be a capital cost.

Been a busy wee week but I have been here there and everywhere with my real job so that's helped.

As for REACT I've done about 10 jobs for them and only ever once dropped down to a 9 but you have to keep working for them otherwise they just go with the same people who are doing the jobs now, I had a month (near enough) off and it took me ages to get back in with them.

Mystery Noodles for dinner tonight, I couldn't believe one of them had been around so long us mere plebs got a sniff :-)
