How to display cards?

Does anyone have any innovative ways of displaying greetings cards?
We recently got married abroad and since coming home have had a load of cards of family and friends. We havent displayed them properly because we have a cat that tries to destroy them!!
We usually just prop them up on the top of our bookcase/fireplace and window sill but our cat takes a weird dislike to them and as soon as they are up she swipes them all down and then tries to chew them!!
Does anyone know of a good way to hang them/display them whilst keeping them out of a cat's reach??

This may seem weird & don't know if it's any help .....
My husband was using the gents one day in a pub and they had the daily papers displayed over the urinals in acrylic poster frames but you could turn the frame over & see the other page.
So, two of the same sized frames put together with the backs taken out, would allow you to see the front/back & the inside of the cards.
Told you it might seem weird

Another option I have seen is to pin string up on the wall and peg the cards onto the string.
or
Punch holes in them and put them into a ring binder.I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Yeah I'd second the string idea. That should keep them out of reach of the cat!
Something like this...
We just stick ours on all the doors and cupboard doors and stairs, etc.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -
I just spotted this:

(No instructions on how to make but it looks just like ribbon attached to a noticeboard. Add decorative paper to pegs)I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
We picked our very favourite wedding cards and framed them with one of those multiple-hole mounts.
For christmas cards I'm terrible. I don't like them, I wish we didn't get any (am not usually a grouch, just about these!) and I resent the effort needed to display them. So I usually don't, but if I do I attach ribbon to the top of a door and have lots of those tiny gold and silver pegs.0 -
How about something like this? Can be used for Christmas cards and birthday cards too once you've put the wedding cards away.
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Thanks for the ideas - I did try the Blu tack option but the cards kept falling off and the cat kept chewing them again.
I do like the idea of ribbon on the walls with some pegs but I have no idea how to attach the ribbon to the walls? I am assuming drawing pins but my hubby is a bit weird about me sticking holes in the walls!!!!!
I will probably try and make some kind of folder to keep them in so I can flick through them although it would have been nice to have them on display somewhere.
I think I might go and browse Pinterest and see if there are any cool ideas on there!!!0 -
We have blinds and curtains at the window but curtains are more decorative and we don't draw them....so all our cards get hooked over the curtain poles. We ave two windows and a set of patio doors in the living room so we can get lots of cards displayed.0

I have seen people put hole in top corner and make into a book.0
