£30k is exceptional - well done to him! Is it with one of the big consulting companies? They pay well for graduates as they put them out as 'consultants' at 3x that, even without much in the way of experience!

    Thanks everyone.
It is about right for London. If you look at the high fliers report (the clue is in the name) it says that 29k is the top salary but the data was taken 18 months ago.
:rotfl: But this is my son we're talking about! Whose bedroom is a disaster area, who wore jeans to an interview, whose hair goes in every direction, who is so laid back he's almost horizontal! (Actually, that's one of his favourite working positions ...)

He'll always be my baby, even if he is a high flying baby!!! :rotfl:

I'm like "I knew you were clever, I just didn't know you were THAT clever!"
BT offers £30,500 on their scheme Plus you get free phone and TV package
There are perks, but nothing as useful as that - and I know it's going to be expensive living in London.

No, it's not a consulting company. I won't say who or what, but the parent company is American, and it's leisure related.

Anyway, the next fun is him trying to sort out accommodation. I'm staying well out of it, there's always grandma's box room in the short term, they'd probably have him forever given half a chance but he's not keen!
