Balance Transfer - Large Amount! Please Help!

I wonder if some of you may be able to help/advise me....?
I have 2 credit cards, one with Mint and the Other with MBNA ... I desperately need to transfer the balance from the Mint card (approx 6k) because I am only just about managing to pay off the interest on a monthly basis.
I applied to transfer the whole balance to the Morgan Stanley 0% card, but they wrote to me and said I was over commited ... I then though maybe I should split the balance between 2 - 0% cards, so applied to HSBC to transfer 3k but again was rejected.
I really don't know what to do, and anyone with any advice on cards that might let me transfer the whole 6k, or any other advice, would be gratefully received!
Regards

Hi wiggles
Applying for differant credit cards in a short space of time will affect your credit status, as they look at this quite closely. not as much if you miss payments but have your tried to speak to one of your cc and see if you can transfer to a life balance card, which is a smaller interest rate?22/07/07 Debt - Tesco 17644 (6.1%) - Now 10500

Hi Wiggles, Try not to panic.
If you are just able to pay the interest on the current card it sounds like you are already stretched and need to take more action than just moving balances to 0% deals.
Can you please post up a full SOA included the APR of your debts. Dewtails are listed in the 1st time posters thread found at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=107280
