Whats the nicest supermarket own brand ice-cream?

I would love to know the forums opinions of any supermarket own-brand 2 litre tubs of ice-cream? Either their standard range or no-frills basic range.
I have so far only tried Sainsbury's standard 2 litre tubs of vanilla ice-cream which are very nice for £1.38, and last week using the logic that if that was nice then their budget basic one would also be nice, I tried their 89p basics vanilla tub. This, while not being exactly horrible, was not a patch on the former.
Please could anyone tell me how nice, or otherwise, they have found ASDa's Tescos, Morrisons, Iceland's, Aldi, Lidl, etc to be for their tubs of ice cream, pref vanilla, pref both basic and standard range?
I wait with bated breath! and Thank you lot in advance, for hopefully lots of ideas and responses! And in the meantime I'm off to get some more of the Sainsburys one, cos I've ran out!

Tesco finest used to do a lovely fudge/toffee type one in a large black and silver tub, 2 for £5 but they've stopped it now, made the tubs twice as small and dont' do that particular flavour :-(Nov NSD: 8/7 Dec NSD: 1/10Sealed pot member #1443 2011: £106. 2012: £171Ninjakat challenge: Aim to clear two debts by April 2013100 day challenge: No toiletries or magazines 19/100 (3 x fails

Lidl vanilla in a blue tub (think they call it bourbon vanilla but it's not alcoholic sadly
) is wonderful. Their flavoured ice cream is amazing too though, there's a hazelnut one that tastes like nutella to me! When they have Chinese food themed weeks they do almond and honey or pear and honey ice creams that are nice too.

Waitrose clotted cream ice cream is pretty good.
It's not stuffed-full of additives and cheap substitutes for real dairy products, either.0 -

Yep, the one with a blue lid, it is 1.19 for 2 litres and tastes like Cornish ice cream.
Tastes very creamy.0 -

I have a independent supermarket near me that stocks the Nisa range. The Nisa brand vanilla ice cream is very nice, the best own brand I have tasted. I can't remember the exact price but is under £1.50 for 2 litres.0
