Tmp with halifax

Hi just wondered if anyone can help. I put in a claim for my total mortgage protection cover with the halifax and got a letter back a week letter saying they are not up holding my claim and that i can go to FOS if i am unhappy. It seems very quick to look at it properly and it was dated back to 1993-2005. I have just phoned up the hotline and asked about the fact that it was an endowment mortgage they sold me and that covered us for death on its own. Also that my hubby had 6 months full sickness pay then half pay for 6 months. The guy said he was re opening the case with the new information i had given him. Do you think i have much of a chance?

The TMPP has no overlap with the endowment policy unless you included life assurance. Althugh many people take out extra life assurance as covering your mortgage alone is rarely enough. Although life assurance is not PPI. So, it wont be that.

    What actually is your complaint?
what evidence do you have to support it?
