Good Quality Ipod/Iphone Sound System

Looking to buy my daughter a good quality iPhone docking system for her birthday and wondered if anyone had any ideas on which ones are good and which ones to avoid.

Would like a decent watts per channel and needs to look good. Best places to buy from would also be helpful.

And can I assume you looking for the old socket? I would suggest you may worth waiting for couple of weeks. Since iphone 5 is out, and it change the socket. I would assume the old one would become cheaper?

Or you could simply buy desktop speaker and use 3.5mm cable.

The Budget is £200 to £300. Would like to get it this weekend so we have it for her birthday next week.
She has an IPhone 4.

200 pound is a generous budget, I expect you will have a pick of them but I bought my oldest the I pig, what a fab sound it has, got everything a teenager needs, wanted something with a good quality sound and for 40 quid the quality certainly exceeded the price. My girls share a room so wanted something with good sound as when my daughter had my I phone 3GS after I upgraded, she passed her I pod touch to her sister so they both liked the I pig. It comes in black, pink and red and can be found on amazon and Argos x

For cheap one, you could consider £60 Logitech s715i
But I am not sure what to go for £200 - 300

We have the Pure one from John Lewis; I think it was £99.99, fairly recently too, it is excellent and I would recommend, looks stylish too
