I'm really interested in what you guys think of this, mainly because my friends all say I spend way too much (£170 a month). Here's my shopping list:
Thanks!:D

No bread, eggs, milk, sugar.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If you can afford your shopping and you are eating what you enjoy, what does it matter what your friends think?0

I don't think so. Me and my OH used to spend £50 a week on food, so more than what you're doing, although I think we got more food for £50. We now currently spend £15-20 per week, sometimes less. If you can afford it and are eating things you like then I don't see the problem!0

Not if you can afford it

I'm sure there are places on your list you could make savings if you wanted/ needed to but if not then its really no one elses businessPeople seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

I dont think thats too much as you have alot of fruit and veg on there.
you might want to try another supermarket one week just to see if the bill is any lower0 -
Hi - I think you are doing OK. Four of us and a cat and we spend around £200. If money ever does get a bit tight you could always shift down on your brands but only if you want/need to.

I think you're doing fine, your £170 a month works out at just under £20 per person, per week and that includes a lot of fruit and veg and high quality protein in the form of meat and fish. I think you're doing great on your budget.
You COULD probably reduce it down a lot by say shopping for yellow sticker reduced items or swapping out items for value products but if you can afford it and don't have to reduce, I'd say don't. Looks good to me.0
