Big Green Gathering 2007

Is anybody out there contemplating going this year? I'm booking up this week (£5 per person discount before May 1st).

It looks fabulous.....any feedback from previous years would be appreciated.

I'd be particularly interested to hear from anybody who has been with children, and if there is plenty to keep them interested for 5 days.

I haven't been personally but I have hunted down LAST YEAR'S THREAD for you as a few MSE'rs did go last year.

Please tell me this is all a(belated) April Fools joke!

People travel(repeat travel) to a gathering from all over the country to preach how 'Green' they are. Preaching not to burn fuel on unneccesary travel and that sort of thing!!!

No - I don't think you can only be 'green' if you promise never to set foot outside of your own home, can you?

The gathering isn't about preaching - it's just a meeting of like-minded people. I guess you won't be going!

tickets are really expensive - for us would be £230 for five days camping! plus petrol up there, food etc

i've heard it's a good festival, but honestly that's alot of money surely (or am i just tight?).
