Thursday 13th September - What small things will you be doing today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.
Examples could be hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important. :money:

Hello everyone!
Have been MIA due to work maddness
we are arranging a big event and we are absolutely frantic, roll on next week!
gmorning, zigs!
hope you feel better, Katy.
Heyo, stitchy! Had a funny question that I think you may be the only person I know who could answer
Is there any corsetry that would be comfortable for an every day rain or shine biker? I was thinking one of those gadgets that just go around your middle, but would they dig into your thighs when riding? I dont need anything industrial strength (I'm a B on a good day, size 8ish), but would like to have something pretty on under my clothes!
Anyway, today:
- breakfast from stores (bacon and egg sandwiches, yum!)
- bake some bread which was dough in freezer
- move chili from freezer to fridge
- work like a crazy person
- try again to buy my flights - card wouldnt work yesterday, argh!
- bike everywhere I need to go
- mealplan and buy some supplies
- maybe go to gym if not too sore from yesterday (using new cheaper gym, much more fun than my old one and half off!)
Hugs to all.Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

Hi NTBY. I used to wear a corset 24/7 mostly underwear but also as fashion wear for going out. A simple underbust style would suit your needs perfectly and, if made properly, should be short enough to sit over your legs when riding your bike rather than digging into the top of your thighs. After all, I ride my bike wearing corsets quite a lot!
If you look at my FB business pages https://www.facebook.com/stitchingwitchuk?ref=hl#!/media/set/?set=a.383680044998934.94398.202438146456459&type=1, a style like Jade would be ideal.
Hope that helps,
Stitchy x

Hi all

Another one MIA for a few days... life has been hectic since the wedding and going back to work. I never manage to keep up to date with everything. Still, I promised September would be my frugal month, so I need to keep up with this as and when I can.
I've been a bit naughty today in that I put the tumble drier on before I left for work but I'm so far behind with washing at the moment...
Anyway, other stuff
checked banking online
meals from stores
nsd apart from liquid gold for the car
phone on charge at work
still dieting (it doesn't stop because the wedding is over)
check out deals for our Scotland 'honeymoon' next year
use our brand new bathroom (fantastic bargain with this, but we've been without our bath and shower for 3 days and I'm fed up of going to my sister's house to use hers)
apply for payrise (you never know)
look for more deals to get wedding photos printed cheaply (600 down, 300 to go).
almost forgot - get ESPN back for hubby for free 3 months, saving money on him going to the match this weekend
Hope everyone is ok.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -
