Not a bad brand, in fact Peter Gabriel wrote a song in their honour...

    "Oh Beko, Beko, because Beko
    Oh Beko, Beko, because Beko
    "

....I guess he must have a lot of dirty dishes, to go to all that bother.

I have a Beko slimline dishwasher. Have had it for 18 months and it's fine. Quiet and has a fast programme which we use all the time. It is efficient but I tend to overload it with bad results! If you can make room for a full size I would definatly reccommend.

Another vote for Beko, I bought a silver one from Argos just over 12 months ago and it has been fantastic so far. It is just about to move house and I am praying we don't damage it in the process!

    OoooH!
I don't want to ruin the Beko's great party but I wouldn't buy another dishwasher from them.
I was tempted...thoughts of throwaway when damaged seem to fit as Beko is so cheap.
We got a slimline in 2004. 1 week over the guarantee, the element went and ( to their credit) Beko paid for the repair. 18 months later, its broken again. Really isn't worth paying for repair so I've bought a better (miele) brand second hand off ebayand it cost less than the Beko. If it lasts 1 year, it's done better than the cheaper one.
As I can tell, everyones experience is different. I am watching a Beko Tv very happily here but no...I won't have another dishwasher.

I saw this and realised I have a lot of Beko! Last May I bought a Beko Dishwasher from Iceland. It is absolutely fab. Washes well, no probs at all. In fact I love it. We have five small kids so a lot of washing up, I use it 3 times a day and it washes anything I put in it! (Which is pretty hardcore at times)
Have a huuuge Beko fridge which is fab (but the handle just snapped-new one on it's way) and a Beko Condenser Tumble Dryer This is really good too. I purchased the 5 year guarantee with each (spread payments over 10 months), so far so good.
Just realised have a Beko 28inch tv and I think that is ace too!

Well, our Seimens has broken after 3.5 years !!!

The heater element has gone, I have fixed the fault once (£85 for an element!!!) but it has gone again, so must be something else gone that is causing the heater to fail...

Cost of spares is just too high, and reliability is not all you might believe. It was quiet, but wasn't any better at washing than our old Candy...

So i am not going to spend £450 on another expensive German box. So what do people think of Beko? I can buy a triple A rated one for £160. They seem well screwed together.

    Regards,

    AB.

hi! I for one am sold by this thread! We want to donate one to a family who desperately need one, can you tell me if the one you have seen is available online? many thanks x
