query re endowment

Having studied the boards related to endowment misselling I have recently put in a claim against Abbey national. Endowment was sold through Royal Life- and arranged through the Abbey national at the same office. Have recently read that claims are unlikey to be successful before April 1987- the endowment in question started in Feb of that year 1987. Does this mean we have not got a claim?

Don't be surprised if you get a rejection based on 'We didnt give advice we only showed you the products and you made the choice'. Abbey still use this for some pre 88 sales. If you are rejected in this fashion take the case to FOS0
