For instance, such as maternity rights and length of service? Or is it considered to be ALL NHS or separate employer?

It's all in the agenda for change terms and conditions handbook which should be available via your local intranet or through nhsemployers website.
I think if you do have a break in service you don't loose all benefits, it depends how long the break is.
My sister worked for 2 years at one Trust then moved to another and 3 months later found out she was pregnant. Work were trying to say she didn't qualify for the ordinary maternity leave that the NHS gives but once she told them and got proof of her 2 years service elsewhere it was fine.
I've worked for the NHS for over 9 years and worked at various Trusts and still qualify for all the benefits, just make sure you keep a record of dates/service length when you do move around.I :heart2: saving money0 -

Thanks. Would be a bit unfair if you lost it all by working somewhere else which, ultimately, is still the NHS.0
