    I agree with you JoeK, 5.2 x joint is pushing it a bit, especially with kids, could she not extend her term as much as poss to keep the payments down. forgive me if interest only, I only skim read the post cos tired...

    Yes it was an interest only and yes the term does not matter.

    This is a case of protecting someone from themselves.

    On the face of it, this one seems a classic mistery shopper???
