Don't Tell The Bride on BBC3 tonight

I watched the first half of it, and thought she was a massive cow. It actually surprises me the number of brides who go on saying "if he doesn't do this, I'll kill him/ not marry him/ storm off!" If your views are that definite, why go on a show like that? I agree though, it is heavily edited to show the bride as a bridezilla, and I think its quite nice how they all end up loving it when they get there (out of the shows that I've seen anyway).0

I haven't watched the whole episode yet but oh my word she was awful - just such a madam, especially about the hen party and saying she wouldn't show up if she didn't like the dress.
Although, considering she wanted a dress that cost a third of the entire budget and a £70K wedding overall, I did wonder why on earth she decided to go on the show. Not to say that you can't have a wedding that looks that expensive for the budget you get on DTTB, or that your wedding is somehow 'better' the more you spend on it, but they must know how much money they get when they apply to it! Unless it was just that she wanted to set him up to 'fail', but I can't imagine why you'd do that to someone you loved enough to want to marry..."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Just watched the re-run on bbc3 tonight, what a cow.
Loved loved loved her dress though (anyone know the designer.......although I have already picked and paid for mine so its a little late to be swapping now. lol!)
I wondered about the bridesmaid dresses, I wonder if she had already bought them before hand to ensure she had the ones she wanted, I cant ever imagine that he picked them. Poor guy, I would love to know what she thinks once shes watched it back. How embarrassing was her behaviour!0 -
Just watching this now she is a psycho! I think she needs anger management or something
The only person who humiliated her was herself.
He should be running for the hills poor bloke
She spoke to her dad horribly. She spoke to him like a piece of crap too
P.S I give them 2 years topsFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -
Due to the postings on here I thought I would give it a watch on catchup and albeit sounding cruel I am glad she didn't get her way and it was done that way. So materialistic it is unbelievable. One comment from her was "There are people dying in the world" A Pity she could remember her own words spoilt biatch0

oh my word, she was horrendous. Strop, strop, strop. There was no way the hen night was going to be right, she was stropping about not having a limo. And did she really think she was getting a £7k dress on their budget?
Also I'm still of the opinion that unless the bride cannot physically squeeze into the dress chosen by their grooms, they shouldnt be allowed to change them. And the cynical side of me wonders how the grooms manage to get the size exactly right and the shop has the dress in stock in the correct size without the 6 month wait that the rest of us have.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. I give them six months.
She was ugly inside and out.I'm not that way reclined
Jewelry? Seriously? Sheldon you are the most shallow, self-centered person I have ever met. Do you really think that another transparently-manipu... OH, IT'S A TIARA! A tiara; I have a tiara! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me! Put it on me!0 -
finally got to watch it!
Whilst I appreciate it will have been heavily editted, I really cant believe the way she behaved in the wedding dress shop. I felt so embarrased for the owner, I really dont understand why her friends pander to her!
Most importantly, did you see how she reacted to the crowd at the end? When she had 20,000 giving her attention she finally behaved like a bride, in the end just another boring attention seeker.0 -
Defo gotta watch it now, if the bride was more of a brat than the Vegas madam it'll be great entertainment!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
