6 boxes of Shredded wheat 12p at Asda

In Asda's doing a shop, I noticed Shredded wheat at £1 (no big special offer signs)
These are usually £1.97ish so I picked up 3 boxes.
When we went through the checkout, I noticed that I had paid 3 lots of £1.00, then had a mutibuy discount of £1.97. The discount said Nestle offer 3 for £3.
We love shredded wheat, so I told hubby to go back round for another 6. Must be a glitch we thought.
I have no idea what happened, but the 6 rang up at 12p.
The checkout girl and the supervisor could not make head nor tail of it. They still scanned at £1.03 if you tried to buy 3 (which was still a mistake they said)
I would be quick on this, they said they would have to sort it, but that there were multiple offers kicking in.
I would also buy something to disguise it, as they tried to get me to leave without my cereal but I was having none of it lol!!
Sorry, these are the big boxes of 27

Asda is 1 supermarket that HAVE to honour the offers. So go for it. lol0

The packets cost £1 each, but you get £1.96 back. I got 2 packs for 4p.
I wish I had more room to store these.
Great spot. Many thanks.0 -
Worked lovely in Asda Bristol... 6 boxes looked really nice alongside the free Sugar puffs from Tescos last week. WE have friends staying over next weekend with 4 boys... this will mean we can fill them up nicely for a weekends activities !:T0

None in Asda Small Heath. Not sure if Asda cleared them or someone bought them all. This was last night.0

Just back from Asda with 3 packets. Charged £1 each. The multibuy savings say Nestle 2 for £3, so 34p per box.
Thanks Finleypop

Actually...we did go anyway, but as Jimsmum said, the 27 boxes were £1.97 a box - not the £1 that the offer seems to be one.
